A lot of school & college students have confusing about tapering down what to study, and how.
Necessary Things
1. Highlighters
2. Two different colored pens of any color
3. Paper line, and white unlined paper
4. Blank flashcards
1. Take no more than 2 pages of your own notes per chapter, and make sure that you include the most imperative topics. Also make flashcards for important terms, or even steps.
2. You will then require using the white unlined paper, two pens, and highlighters. You will need two white unlined papers depending on how many chapters you will cover. If you cover 4 covers, use ONLY two white papers. I am sure the notes you have taken from class, and each chapter is probably 4-6 pages for each chapter. We are going to condense these very much. SO, fold the paper in half. The top paper will be for the first chapter, 2nd half the 2nd chapter, and so on. The back pages will exist the next two chapters. If this is your first time doing this you can just use a page per chapter, until you really can figure out how to concentrate the chapters properly.
Subsequently, I want you to write the MOST important topics for each chapter. Do not write key terms! That is what the flashcards are for!
Emphasize each topic, and mark the title of each topic in a different color, and use bullets if it is list.
Once that is done, it is very important to study at least a week ahead for each test. If you have 8 days to study and 4 chapters, spend a day studying each chapter, than another day study the important key terms.
If you study for 2 hours or more take a half hour smash, during after 2-3 hours, to insure that you are knowledge the subjects. Most books have study questions at the end of each episode. I’d recommend doing these if you have time, to insure you know the information. a lot of school books come by means of a study guide, once again I’d advise doing a of these problems, after you have studied.
3. Teach will clearly give you notes for what you have to study, so after the lecture it is VERY IMPORTANT READ THE CHAPTERS. I cannot stress this enough. Make sure that you carefully read and even take extra notes for the subjects that the teacher highlights.
4. Use highlighters to stress important topics
