Thus they are still not considered as doctors..cuz u nid to work for one year first..you can continue your studies to get a Masters degree in any of the specialties..But, you can also not do so. That means, you are a general practitioner when you pass out

These are some of the options for a qualified M.B.B.S graduate apart from PG.

(1). Scientific Research

(2). Cosmetology /Trichology

(3). Hospital Administration

(4). Medical Transcription

(5). General Practice

Apart from these

(1). Medical Underwriting- You could try working in ICICI Prudential, Birla sun life and other companies. They are mainly into pre hospital health checks for insurance, hospitalization expenses partly and death claims. They do tend to pay 30000 rs pm or even 5 lakes per annum if you are good.

They usually prefer pharmacy graduates since they are much stable.

You could try and get into them via working initially for TPAs (third party administrators like Paramount, TTK healthcare and others). The pay when i went was around 11000 rs with yearly appraisal in the month of December (paramount).

(2). Pharmacy companies.

They look for medico marketing manager.

Job profile includes answering queries of field staff and doctors with regards to the product conduct training sessions, CME’s, clinical trials, writing promotional literature. Pharma companies could pay you 25000- 50000 rs depending upon your baldachin.

You could try working in a clinical research organization for initial experience. Not sure bout the pay in CRO’s . Also not sure bout ICRI and other institutes.

(3). Medical writing

Anyone with a creative bent of mind could try medical writing. search for creative writing courses for reputed institutes to help you initially and also

Spruce up your CV. a white article on medical procedures with facts could fetch you from 5000 – 7500 rs.

(4). Hospital management

Try getting into MHA by doing a course. Personal opinion is why not MBA.MHA restricts you to Hospital administration and MBA could be used for any other field. Doctors do get into IIMs. Not difficult but very possible.

Are you dissatisfied with your class XII marks? Despite your best effort, did you fare badly in the exam?

As a result, do you find you cannot apply for certain courses? What are the options available to you now? Should you go for a standard degree or look at a specialized diploma? Look at the National School of drama, but for that they would see some performance in theatrical groups. So try and participate in some professional performances.

There are various government-run film institutes. There is also Whistling Woods, and a few others in Mumbai. You might also look at joining dramatics clubs and stage groups to learn and practice your skills. Engineering is seeing a big boom in placements across India with IT companies recruiting thousands of engineers. Before you choose a college, first, look for history i.e., how old the college is etc. Second is the location. Most companies generally prefer city-based colleges for recruitment, though for very good colleges, location is not a constraint. After that check websites for more information. Finally, actually speak to students of that college. They will normally be honest with you. Ask for specific information, list of companies, how many were recruited, was it on campus or off campus recruitment etc.
